The Martian Ants are an invasive species from the planet Mars that invaded the planet Amzot only to be repelled by the Herculoids.
Biology[]
The creatures appear to be somewhat like giant ants, but have a number of notable differences. They are (like normal ants) burrowers making their home underground, and they posses the ability to spew molten ore as an offensive weapon, and seems immune to Energy Rocks. Their mandibles are magnetic and sift out all metallic matter.
History[]
The Martian Ants arrived upon Amzot in a small clay ship in the Red Mountains they quickly burrowed and established themselves beneath the mountain. It is revealed that they were sent to the planet by the Martians in order to mine the resources of the world for use in war.
The Herculoids were able to stop them by intimidating the martian who sent them into retrieving the beasts and leaving the planet. If it was not for the Herculoids in a few short days the entire world would have been consumed.
